In 2026, ICESTA successfully completed a turnkey concrete cooling project in Angola. The system integrates a 30-ton flake ice machine, a fully automatic ice storage and delivery system, and a 120-ton water chiller, providing an efficient and reliable concrete temperature control solution for a large-scale infrastructure construction project.
The system delivered by ICESTA features a modular containerized design. All equipment undergoes full piping connections and testing at the factory before shipment, requiring only container positioning, pipe connections, and water/power hookup on site. The flake ice machine produces 30 tons per day, paired with a fully automatic ice storage and delivery system that enables automated ice production, storage, and delivery through a touch-screen intelligent control system with remote monitoring and visual management capabilities. The 120-ton water chiller provides a continuous and stable low-temperature cooling water source for concrete mixing.
Core advantages of the system include: flake ice is added directly to the concrete mix, absorbing heat through melting to effectively reduce the concrete discharge temperature; the fully automatic ice storage system is equipped with an ice rake mechanism to prevent ice clumping and ensure uniform ice output; and the containerized design provides reliable protection for long-term stable operation in Angola's complex construction environments.
